This my first article in this blog. Lets see how is goes *.*. This is Indonesia. The beautiful country with so many rich cultures and amazing places. Last year 2009, i went to West Borneo. I went to Kura-kura beach at West Borneo.I found this beach by accident and i am so glad i found this beach. The sunset really capture me. It was one of the great moment that i would love to have it again. Maybe many people dont know about this Island. If you are beach lover and hunter of sunset, i think you should find this place for yourself.
Information : How to get here
Step I : Indonesia , from Jakarta you will need a flight to Pontianak ( west Borneo ). You can use domestic flight in here such as Garuda Indonesia, Lion air, Sriwijaya Airlane,etc. ( promo time it cost you Rp. 400.000 one way )
Step II : You need to rent a car to reach Kura-kura beach. Pontianak to kura-kura beach it will take you about 3 hours 130 Km. You can rent some car at Pontianak.
Step III : otherwise you can email Mr. Charlie Robertson :charliethebeachbum@yahoo.co.uk. He is the owner of Kura-kura cafe. He is the one who are taking care this beautiful beach. He have a lovely cottage near the beach. The cottage is so naturally made. I am trying to find the pictures, :( sorry i saved it some where and i forgot where i put it.
